Media Sessions

The Highlanders media sessions during the 2013 campaign will be organised as follows:

Pre-season

Please contact Doug McSweeney on 021 244 7838 to arrange an interview with a coach, player or team management.

In-Season

While the Highlanders are in New Zealand there will be one or two formal media sessions per week at the team’s base at University Grounds (off Union Street), Dunedin. A media advisory will be sent out to all listed media (those media included on the Highlanders media list) each Monday during the season. Likely Session Days

• If the team is playing on a Friday, the sessions will be Tuesday and/or Wednesday.
• For a Saturday game, the sessions will be Wednesday and/or Thursday.

Please limit filming and photographs to the warm up/warm down part of training. All filming and photography must be advised when requesting a media session.

Please note: before attending a training session all media must contact Doug McSweeney to book a media time.

Team Media Release

The team list will be released no later than 24 hours before the match and the coaching team will be available for comment at the times noted on the media release.

Overseas matches

When the team is overseas, Doug McSweeney will still be the first point of contact for all media enquiries and will refer you to Team Manager, Graham Purvis as appropriate.  The travel details of the Highlanders will be included in the media release for the week ahead and media opportunities will also be highlighted.
