Tom Sanders is an experienced and robust Loose Forward who debuted for Canterbury in 2014, before his Super Rugby debut for the Chiefs in 2016. 

Between 2018 and 2021, Sanders moved back to Christchurch and played for the Crusaders. He was selected and played in the North v South game in 2020, before moving to Japan for two years. Now playing for Otago, Sanders joins the Highlanders for the 2024 season.
