Will Tucker hails from Christchurch, is a St Bede's alumnus, and started his professional career at Canterbury in 2018 before moving to Dunedin and joining Otago for the NPC in 2020. 

Tucker has been with the Highlanders previously and was heartbreakingly close to debuting against the Jaguares in Buenos Aires in 2020 however the game was canceled as the threat of COVID19 became apparent. 

Tucker's older brother is also a lock and has been named in the 2023 Blues Squad.
